Hypor Customer Wins Quebec’s Grand Champion Award

Hypor is pleased to acknowledge the outstanding performance of Les Élevages Lessard Inc. at the recent Quebec Pork Congress held in St. Hyacinthe.Les Élevages Lessard Inc., owned and operated by brothers Enrico and Carl Lessard, walked away with the prestigious Grand Champion Pig Barn of the Year Award.
The Quebec industry recognizes top provincial producers through the Concours Fermes Porcines 2005 Annual awards.The program recognizes outstanding performance in four categories: Farrowing, Farrowing to Finishing, Finishing and the Grand Champion Big Barn of the Year Award.Finalists are judged on their herd management abilities, animal husbandry and technical skills, facility functionality, environmental stewardship, financial management and business growth.Winners must excel in all areas to take home the coveted award.
The 1300 sow Lessard unit filled by Gene-Alliance, a Hypor dealership, was not the only user of Hypor products receiving recognition.Agri-Marche, Hypor’s longest standing dealership in Quebec had two finalists and a category winner in the competition.Ferme Parent — Lambert Inc. won the Farrow-to-Finish performance award. Ferme Danmarc Inc. was a finalist in the Farrowing category and Ferme Stéphane Lessard in the Finishing category.
